ZOHO Software Systems is an All in One type approach to business solutions. Their softwares are very up to date and prices are incredibly fair for what they offer! We've all been there - searching for that ultimate software that does bookkeeping, Newsletters & Email Tracking, eCommerce, etc. etc. Typically, if you find a good software solution for something, it's too expensive? Or perhaps more cumbersome than you're used to?

Real Life Experience with ZOHO "BOOKS"

I've been billing my clients with the ZOHO Books system now for over 2 + years and I love it. Course, there are always things you'll want beyond the basic system. However, their "basic" system sure covers a lot of things that other softwares are missing. Prior to switching to ZOHO Books, I was a QB person. Last year I needed to generate 100+ Invoices for a client that was using QB before the end of the year (Annual Membership Renewals). The goal was to print the invoice to be physically mailed while also generating an email for that same invoice to be scheduled to all go out on Jan 1. I started that task in QB and realized after about the 5th one, it was extremely cumbersome and needed multiple tasks per their customer.

Since I had been using ZOHO Books for myself, I tried doing the same task for my client in ZOHO Books. I started a free trial and within the 2-3 invoice, I knew I had found the solution!! :)  In ZOHO Books, I could find the customer to be billed the same as in QB, but it ended there. In ZOHO Books, I generated an invoice dated Jan 1, saved it, printed it and generated a scheduled email invoice all on the same customer page!!! I never left that single page. Within 3-4 clicks on the same customer page, I was done and moved onto the next customer within seconds - oh my gosh!!

Meanwhile, in the QB Method, I would generate an invoice (same) and save it. I could not print it from that main page, nor schedule it for a future emailing date & time! After I generated that customer invoice and saved it, I had to go back to my customer list, find that one I just created, bring it back up and then Print it. OK, 2 out 3 tasks completed. Now, I wanted to schedule it for a future email send.... can't do it. That bulk emailing of all my invoices could not be scheduled!!!

Even better!??!?  ZOHO Books is about ONE THIRD the cost of QB....  They offer a free Trial - give it a try. Think of a road trip..... do I want to journey in a nice comfy car with stereo, power windows, seats, cruise control, etc. or an old clunker - crank windows, no power seats, am/fm radio, etc. They will both get me there. But, which would you rather drive - the nice comfy faster car or the old slow uncomfortable clunker?

Another Real Life Experience

I've been using several different email/newsletter system over the years. I always try to get the most of a system for the best and fairest price. I will usually stay with that system , like most of us, until I find that better mouse trap, costs start to be too much, sloppy software, bad support, etc. - you name it :)

When I first offered Newsletter/email Subscriptions type software I went with the Big "Monkey" system. Then I found that better mouse trap in a company we'll call "K". I've been with them 3-4 years? Lately, seems as though they are riding on their name and their software improvements have actually gone backwards - I know hard to imagine :(

Sunday night I was working on a client's newsletter and just had some struggles with the "K" system. I remembered ZOHO had all kinds of systems out there so I went to look at their "Campaigns" software. Again, free trial. Sooo, naturally, I had to try it and see what it was like. Seemed pretty similar in most aspects. I had a problem with something I just couldn't get to work right so I looked to see if I could get some support help. I tried the Chat bot with no help. BUT, that "bot" then connected me with a human within a minute. I explained my situation, they understood and got me "splained" within minutes - WOW!!! All on a Sunday evening. If it were the "K" system, I could submit a ticket and get an answer in a day or two.

It gets even better!!!! I looked at the cost of the ZOHO Campaigns software versus the "K" system.....  Hand on - you've just given yourself a raise!!!

"K" is free for up to 500 email subscribers. Then it goes up in $20/Month increments per 500? The ZOHO Campaigns system is Free for up to 2,000 subscribers and up to 6,000 email sends per month. Same basic drag/drop, etc.

Say you want to be sure to have the latest and greatest system of ZOHO Campaigns. The next level up is $36 a YEAR for UNLIMITED emails, etc. Nah, I want to have the "Professional" system - WOW, that will cost you $54 a YEAR.

Soooo, let's say you or your client has 3,000 subscribers. In the "K" system, that would be $80/MONTH. If you are using the ZOHO Campaigns system, that would be $4.50/Month on their most expensive system option. You're giving yourself a raise of $75.50 a month or $906 a Year. Seems like a no-brainer to me :)  ZOHO Campaigns it is!!
